Literature Out Loud
Why would someone record 100 famous pieces of literature,
edit them, and put them on the internet complete with text
for anyone to use? I’ll be truthful -- I like to perform.
That’s right, I like the sound of my own voice.
But more important, I love these pieces of literature.
They range in length -- the shortest is
“Acceptance” by Robert Frost -- clocking in at one minute ten seconds,
to the longest-- “The Other Wise Man” by Henry Van Dyke at forty-eight minutes
with 98 other pieces of literature recorded,
edited and ready for you to enjoy and use in anyway you can.
There are twelve hours of recordings available of great poems and short stories.
